2. Align string, fold in half, and tie knot ½ inch from fold forming a loop.

3. Attach your ½ inch loop to MYFBM under the clip.

4. Arrange the same color in slots 1 and 10 (pink), 2 and 9 (black), 3 and 8 (green), 4 and 7 (white), 5 and 6 (blue).

5. To start, you will need to make 4 single Arrows (see Arrow Pattern for instructions). One with each of your first 4 colors (pink, black, green, and white).

6. With your blue string from slot 1 make double right hand knots on the strings in slots 2 and 3. With your blue string make a single right and and a single left hand knot on the green string in slot 4. Your blue string should now be in slot 3.

7. With your blue string in slot 10 make double left hand knots on the strings in slots 9 and 8. With your blue string make a single left hand and a single right hand knot on the green string in slot 7. Your blue string should now be in slot 8.

8. Take your pink string from slot 1 and make a single right hand single left hand knot on your black string in slot 2. Your pink string should end in slot 1.

9. Take your pink string from slot 10 and make a single left hand single right hand hknot on your black string in slot 9. Your pink string should end in slot 10.

10. Take your blue string in slot 3 and make double left hand knots on the strings in slot 2 and 1.

11. Take your blue string in slot 8 and make double left hand knots on strings 9 and 10.

12. Take your white string in slot 5 and make double left hand knots on the strings in slots 4, 3, 2 and 1. Your white string should end in slot 1.

13. Take your white string in slot 6 and make double right hand knots on the strings in slots 7, 8, 9 and 10. Your white string should end in slot 10.

14. Take your green string in slot 6 and make double left hand knots on strings in slots 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1.

15. Take your green string in slot 6 and make double right hand knots on strings in slots 7, 8, 9 and 10. Your green string should now be in slot 10.

16. Repeat steps 14 and 15 with your black strings.

17. Take your pink string in slot 6 and make double left hand knots on strings in slots 5, 4, 3 and 2. With the pink string make a single left hand single right hand knot on the black string in slot 1. The pink string should now be in slot 2.

18. Take your pink string in slot 6 and make double right hand knots on strings in slots 7, 8 and 9. With the pink string make a single right hand single left hand knot on the black string in slot 10. The pink string should now be in slot 9.

19. Take your blue string from slot 6 and make double left hand knots on the strings in slot 5 and 4. With the blue string make a single left hand single right hand knot on the green string in slot 3. Your blue string should now be in slot 4.

20. Take your blue string from slot 6 and make a double right hand knot on the white string in slot 7. With the blue string make a single right hand single left hand knot in the green string in slot 8. Your blue string should now be in slot 7.

21. Take your white string in slot 6 and make a double left hand knot on the white string in slot 5.

22. Take your blue string in slot 4 and make a double right hand knot on the white string in slot 5. Your blue string should now be in slot 5

23. Take your blue string in slot 7 and make a double left hand knot on the strings and slot 6 and 5. Your blue string should now be in slot 5.

24. Take your pink string in slot 2 and make double right hand knots on the strings in slots 3, 4 and 5. Your pink string should now be in slot 5.

25. Take your pink string in slot 9 and make double left hand knots on strings in slots 8, 7, 6 and 5. Your pink string should now be in slot 5.

26. Make single Arrows with the black, green and white strings. (See Arrow pattern for instructions)

27. At this point you have completed one rotation of the pattern. Repeat steps 6 through 26 until your bracelet is long enough to fit your wrist. Once your bracelet is long enough to fit your wrist, braid strings from the slots 1-5, tying a knot at the end. Then use strings 6-10 to create another braid, tying a knot at the end of that braid. These two braided strands will be used to tie on your friendship bracelet.

28. Unclip your friendship bracelet from the butterfly clip and cut off the extra string after the knot on your braids. Your new Elizabeth friendship bracelet is now ready to wear or share!
