4. This pattern is going to use 12 threads. One thread will go to the left of slot 1 and be referred to as string #0 and the other will go to the right of slot 10 and be referred to as string #11. The first color will be in 0 and 11 (red), the second in 1 and 10 (orange), the third in 2 and 9 (yellow), fourth in 3 and 8 (green), fifth in 4 and 7 (blue), and sixth in 5 and 6 (purple).

6. Take the string in slot 11 and make left hand double knots on strings in slots 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, and 5. String 11 should end in slot 5.

8. Take the string in slot 1 and make a single right single left hand knot on the string in slot 2. String 1 should end back in slot 1.

9. Take the string in slot 2 and make a single right single left hand knot on the string in slot 3. String 2 should end back in slot 2.

10. Take the string in slot 3 and make a single right single left hand knot on the string in slot 4. String 3 should end back in slot 3.

11. Take the string in slot 4 and make a single right single left hand knot on the string in slot 5. String 4 should end back in slot 4.

12. Take the string in slot 11 and make a single left single right hand knot on the string in slot 10. String 11 should end back in slot 11.

13. Take the string in slot 10 and make a single left single right hand knot on the string in slot 9. String 10 should end back in slot 10.

14. Take the string in slot 9 and make a single left single right hand knot on the string in slot 8. String 9 should end back in slot 9.

15. Take the string in slot 8 and make a single left single right hand knot on the string in slot 7. String 8 should end back in slot 8.

17. Take the string in slot 6 and make a single left single right hand knot on the string in slot 5. String 6 should end back in slot 6.

18. You’ve now completed one rotation of the pattern. Repeat steps 5-17 until your bracelet is long enough to wear. Once your bracelet fits around your wrist make two braids, one with strings in slots 0-5 and one with strings 6-11. Tie double knots and cut off the remaining strands to finish your bracelet. Wear or share with a friends!
