1. Pick 5 different color threads for this pattern. (The example uses yellow, green, orange, blue & pink).
2. Align string, fold in half, and tie knot ½ inch from fold forming a loop.
3. Attach your ½ inch loop to MYFBM under the butterfly clip.
4. Arrange the same color in slots 1 and 10 (yellow), 2 and 9 (green), 3 and 8 (orange), 4 and 7 (blue), 5 and 6 (pink).
Row 1:
1. Take string #2 (green) and make a left hand double with string #1 (yellow). String #2 (green) will now be in slot 1.
2. Take string #4 (blue) and make a left hand double with string #3 (orange). String #4 (blue) will now be in slot 3.
3. Take string #5 (pink) and make a right hand double with string #6 (pink). String #5 (pink) will now be in slot 6.
4. Take string #7 (blue) and make a right hand double with string #8 (orange). String #7 (blue) will now be in slot 8.

You’ve now repeated one rotation of the pattern. Repeat rows 1-40 three or four times until your bracelet is long enough to fit your wrist.
To Finish:
1. Once your bracelet is long enough to fit your wrist take three strings from the slots 1–4 in your left hand and three strings from slots 8 – 11 in your right hand and braid with the remaining 2 center strings.
2. Take the braided strings and tie two basic knots at the end of your friendship bracelet.
3. Unclip your friendship bracelet from the butterfly clip and cut off the excess braided section. Your friendship bracelet is ready to wear or share.

You’ve now repeated one rotation of the pattern. Repeat rows 1-40 three or four times until your bracelet is long enough to fit your wrist.
To Finish:
1. Once your bracelet is long enough to fit your wrist take three strings from the slots 1–4 in your left hand and three strings from slots 8 – 11 in your right hand and braid with the remaining 2 center strings.
2. Take the braided strings and tie two basic knots at the end of your friendship bracelet.
3. Unclip your friendship bracelet from the butterfly clip and cut off the excess braided section. Your friendship bracelet is ready to wear or share.
